Aims In recent years, iron oxide nanoparticles have shown incredible possibilities in biomedical applications due to their non-toxic function biological systems. Furthermore, these multifunctional applications, such as antibacterial, antifungal, and anticancer effects medicine magnetic properties. Methods & Materials this article, 49 articles related wide biotechnology were collected from 1998 2022 through article search databases Google Scholar, Pubmed, Scopus. Findings Iron are not only used agents but also they can be functionalized with different molecules treat diagnose cancer. Due the adverse of some molecules, phytochemicals plant extracts today an alternative functionalize nanoparticles. The main advantage is appropriate bio-distribution sample compared other drug delivery properties hyperthermia contrast media resonance imaging attracted attention many researchers.
